Eric is President of the Family Policy Alliance of Kansas where he directs the organization’s efforts to advance a culture of life, strong families and religious freedom in Kansas. He previously was Director of Faith Outreach for Marco Rubio for President. Prior to the campaign Eric served as the Executive Director of the Manhattan Declaration, a “call of Christian conscience” on life, marriage and religious liberty. Before joining the Manhattan Declaration, Eric managed the Values & Capitalism program at the American Enterprise Institute. This innovative program educates college students about the links between values and the free enterprise system. The proud son of a career Army officer, Eric graduated from Wheaton College (IL) and holds a masters degree from Azusa Pacific University. In 2011, he married Abby, a math teacher. Together with their daughter, Emily, the couple lives in Kansas City where they can be found walking their dog and cheering for the Royals and Chiefs.
